Less is More.

Why should you commit to a bulky and hard-to-configure infrastructure before you really need?

  • Fail fast with PostData: Streamline publishing and visualization of sensor data.
  • Simplify IoT data management with PostData's lightweight solution as compared to much heavier AWS/Azure alternatives.
  • Integrate ideas quickly with PostData's familiar RESTful interface.
  • Visualize IoT data in real-time with PostData's charts.

Why do all this?

  1. Create an AWS account.
  2. Set up an IoT Core endpoint to receive data.
  3. Create an IoT device and connect it to AWS IoT Core.
  4. Configure the device to send data to AWS IoT Core.
  5. Create an IoT rule to ingest the data and route it to the appropriate AWS service.
  6. Configure AWS Kinesis or AWS S3 to store the data.
  7. Set up an analytics service like AWS Athena or AWS QuickSight to analyze the data.
  8. Configure security and access control for the IoT devices and data.

While you can just do this!

  1. Configure the device to send data to PostData
  2. Visualize it!

Questions?

What is PostData?

PostData is a cloud-based platform that simplifies IoT data management by providing a lightweight and easy-to-use solution for streaming, storing, and visualizing sensor data.

How does PostData work?

PostData works by allowing you to send HTTP POST requests with sensor data to the platform, which then stores and visualizes the data on a simple dashboard. It uses a RESTful interface that is familiar to developers, making it easy to integrate with existing systems.

What are the benefits of PostData?

The benefits of using PostData include fast and easy IoT data management, simplified proof-of-concept validation, real-time data visualization, and flexible scalability. It also offers encryption and security measures to protect your data.

What kind of data can I send to PostData?

Any kind of numerical data, from weather stations sensors, server metrics, bitcoin price, etc. Currently we limit 10 metrics per device.

It look so simple, can I trust PostData in commercial and enterprise deployments?

Yes! We made PostData after years of suffering from the pain of having to setup complex architectures everytime we needed to test something simple, within our jobs. PostData is built on a highly-scalable architecture provided by Cloudflare. If you still have questions get in touch with us at [email protected]

Do you store my data?

PostData comes with a generous free plan that stores up to 1000 data points per sensor. If you need more storages, consider one of our paid plans! If the free plan is enough for you, beware that your data is public, and it can be accessed by anyone.
